Subscription takes place using the double opt-in procedure. This means that after subscribing, you will receive an email in which you must confirm your subscription. This is intended to ensure that the subscription actually originates from you.

The newsletter is managed using a newsletter plugin operated locally in WordPress. Newsletter data is stored in the WordPress installation of this website. No external newsletter service provider such as Mailchimp, Brevo or CleverReach is used for this purpose.

The technical sending of the newsletter takes place via the email or hosting infrastructure of this website.

The processing is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and the applicable provisions of Austrian telecommunications law. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, in particular by using the unsubscribe link in each newsletter or by sending a message to info@johannessiebert.com.

2.6 YouTube videos

Videos from YouTube may be embedded on this website. The provider for users in the European Union is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

YouTube videos are embedded on this website in a privacy-friendly manner using a two-click solution. This means that no connection to YouTube is established merely by accessing a page. A connection to YouTube is established only when you actively load the video or consent to the embedding.

If you actively load a YouTube video, personal data, in particular your IP address and technical information about your browser, may be transmitted to Google. If you are logged in to YouTube or Google at the same time, Google may associate the page view with your user account.

The fonts used on this website are provided locally via this website. No connection to Google Fonts servers is established for this purpose.

2.8 Contact by email or telephone

If you contact us by email or telephone, the personal data you provide will be processed in order to respond to your enquiry.

Depending on the content of the enquiry, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if the contact relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on the legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.

This website does not use VG Wort tracking pixels, the “Skalierbares Zentrales Messverfahren” of Kantar Germany GmbH or Google Analytics.
