Research Objectives and Framework

My goal is to understand, explain, and systematically improve decision-making processes of individuals, organizations, and interorganizational systems. A central focus is how relevant factors and data can be leveraged to enable well-founded, data-driven decisions—particularly in complex value creation and supply chain systems.

I pursue this goal through a combination of theoretical and empirical research, methodological development, and practical applications.

A particular emphasis of my work is the development of behaviorally informed interventions that enable individuals to act as architects of their own decisions, actively shaping their lives and environments while strengthening their sense of self-efficacy.
